When a florist gets married
Saturday, 18 April 2015
Getting married was the best excuse to build my own event, my way!
Our theme - Boho Moroccan Gypsy
Gathering industry professionals, close friends and suppliers around me created an excellent, like minded wedding and events team.
There were so many handmade and detailed elements to the wedding, a combination of many industry professionals working together for what we like to call our "designer DIY backyard" wedding at my parents property in Woodend.
Designing my dress and creating it with my mum was so special and our massive bridal party (support crew) of 18 all played their own important role, from burlesque performers to sports pros to wedding stylists & tradies - we certainly used all their various talents!!
It's hard to choose my favourite details from the day as there are so many; from the gypsy styled ceremony to the surprise Tipi’s nestled behind the main house with a horse float bar, my girls creating their own posies from a pre selected bucket of delicious blooms to our first Salsa dance to ‘Hey Mama’ - by the Black Eyed Peas!
So much fun! Thanks to everyone involved.
